Job Opportunity – PACU Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: September 16, 2026

Location: San Antonio, Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM (night shift). No on-call requirements for this position. This role supports the transition to 24/7 PACU coverage.

Highlights:

• 18-bay Adult PACU with ICU-level care capabilities
• Patient ratios: 1:1 for first 30 minutes or ICU level of care; 2:1 when stable
• No floating required – dedicated PACU assignment
• EMR: Meditech Magic
• Collaborative team environment with 25 nursing staff members
• Two RNs required in PACU at all times when patients are present

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience required
• ICU level of care competency required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• CPAN or CAPA certification preferred
• Active or compact state RN license
