Travel Nurse RN - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op - $1,884 per week in Englewood, CO

Provide pre-operative and post-anesthesia recovery care for patients receiving anesthesia across surgical specialties including spine, general, GI, colorectal, total joints, GYN, and robotics cases. Gain exposure to a high-volume, diverse surgical caseload including advanced robotics, neuro, and interventional procedures in a well-equipped facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative and post-anesthesia recovery care for patients receiving anesthesia across surgical specialties including spine, general, GI, colorectal, total joints, GYN, and robotics cases
• Float between PACU units (Main/Surgical Robotics and Orthopedic Surgery Center) as needed based on surgical schedule
• Manage high neuro volume patients including stroke, interventional radiology, TAVR, and critical care overflow cases
• Maintain patient ratios in accordance with ASPAN standards (1:2, with up to 1:3 for same-day surgery patients)
• Operate GE monitoring equipment and document care using Meditech EMR
• Maintain current PALS, ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of current hospital PACU experience
• Current PALS, ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to float between PACU units and adapt to a variable surgery-driven schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Stroke care experience
• Critical care background in addition to PACU experience
• Flexible and outgoing personality well-suited to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
