This is a fast-paced environment that requires collaboration with multiple departments and providers. Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent patient care and satisfaction are essential. The unit has 27 beds and a staff of 12, including 10 RNs and 2 Charge RNs during the day shift, and 2 RNs at night. Patient ratios include 4 patients in preoperative care and 1-2 patients in the PACU. Typical procedures performed include blocks, orthopedic, spine, neurology, interventional radiology, ENT, general surgery, GI, vascular, and colorectal. Candidates with CPAN or CAPA certifications are preferred. On-call duty includes 1 weekend call shift per month. We are looking for a nurse who demonstrates the values of caring like family.
