### Join Our Team as an Acute Travel RN in the PACU!
**Job Description:**
- **Position:** Registered Nurse (RN) - Post Anesthesia Recovery
- **Location:** Wilson, NC
- **Facility Type:** 294-bed Joint Commission Accredited Medical Center
- **Shift:** 7:30 AM - 8 PM with bi-weekly orientations and upcoming start dates on 11/9, 11/13, and 12/7
- **Schedule Flexibility:** Must be willing to work 8x5 and 4x10 as needed
**Unit Profile:**
- **Department:** PACU
- **Number of Openings:** 1
- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 40
- **Weekend Hours:** Call required, typically 1/week and every 3-4 weekends
**Patient Care Details:**
- **Number of Beds:** 8 + 1 Isolation Room
- **Patient Ratios:** Per ASPAN Standards (can be 1:1, 1:2, or 2:1)
- **Common Diagnoses:** Post-op surgical patients, typically under general anesthesia
**Required Qualifications:**
- **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years PACU experience required; ICU experience preferred
- **Certifications:** ACLS and PALS required
- **Technology:** Meditech experience preferred
**Unit Equipment:**
- Cardiac Monitors
- IV equipment
- SCDs
- Nasal O2
- Omni Cell
- Blanket Warmer
**Team Environment:**
- **Supervisor:** Don Tricarico
- **Patient Population:** All except neonates
- **Personality Fit:** Pleasant, positive, and a team player
**Dress Code:**
- **Scrub Color:** None specified
- **Expectations:** Compliance with the HR Dress Code Policy, no inappropriate or revealing clothing
