Description

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric ICU RN for a Level I trauma facility, requiring PALS certification and prior ICU experience with 1:2 patient ratios.

Details

• Level I trauma facility PICU setting
• Night shift, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• 1:2 patient ratios
• Every weekend requirement
• Float required between ICUs at two campuses, including NICU (Level IV), TICU, PICU, and CICU
• May float to general care areas if no ICU need exists
• Uses Servo ventilators across all ICUs
• RRTs utilized in each ICU

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• BLS and PALS (AHA only) certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Level I trauma facility experience required
• Experience with typical ICU drips, medications, and vasopressors required
• BSN preferred but not required
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

• Must be available to work either the Thanksgiving or Christmas holiday rotation based on staffing needs
• Cannot request both major holidays off
• Facility is a nicotine-free campus and tests for cotinine/nicotine
