Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional care to pediatric patients and a collaborative spirit in a demanding environment.

Shift Details

Evening/Night shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
3x12 hour scheduled shifts
Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients in critical condition.
Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
Educate families and caregivers about patient conditions and care plans.
Maintain accurate and timely patient records using Epic electronic health records.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pediatric ICU nursing.
2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years is required.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license is mandatory.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required (AHA only).
Candidates must successfully pass a telemetry assessment before starting the role.
Experience with Epic electronic health records is required.
