Job Description:

• Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU.
• Monitor patient conditions, vital signs, and hemodynamic status.
• Manage ventilators, tracheostomies, feeding tubes, and intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring.
• Perform IV starts, catheterization, lumbar puncture assistance, and central line dressing changes.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide safe, effective patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using Cerner.

Requirements:

• Previous PICU experience: Minimum 1 year required.
• Certification: PALS required.
• Patient Ratio: 1:1–2 in PICU; 1:2–3 in Pediatric Stepdown.
• Floating: Must be willing to float to Pediatrics and NICU.
• Weekend Requirement: 3 weekends per 6-week schedule.
• Dress Code: All navy blue, all white, or navy pants with a white top.
