- Radius rule: Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit
Unit Information:
- Beds: 24
- Average patient census: 21-23
- Required Experience: 2 years of strong, high-acuity Pediatric ICU experience. Must be comfortable in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.

- Trauma, including penetrating and non-accidental trauma (NAT)

Patient Ratios:
- RN ratios vary by acuity: 2:1, 1:1, 1:2
Required Licensure & Certifications:
- RN: BLS, PALS
Skills Required:
- EPIC experience
- Experience with Artic Sun
- EVDs
- Camino device (ICP and temperature monitoring device)
- Belmont Rapid Infuser
- Management of critical care vasoactive drip titration
- Management of invasive lines, ART lines, and CVP
- Aseptic and sterile techniques
- Basic dressing changes
- Ventilator and trach management
- HFOV management
- Oral/nasal suctioning
- G-tube/J-tube management
- Feeding tubes
- Chest tubes
- Epidurals
- PCAs
- Sedation and analgesic drip management
- Foley insertion and management
- Alaris and Medfusion pump management
- Bedside procedures with providers
- Discharge skills
- CRRT experience
- Ability/competency to float to Pediatric CVICU to be discussed during interview
Support Within the Department:
- CNA: 1 Health Care Tech per day to support unit secretary duties and nursing support needs throughout the shift, including running errands and bathing
- Unit Secretary every shift
