Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse – Days or Nights

  • Schedule: Day Shift (07:00 – 19:00) OR Night Shift (19:00 – 07:00) | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours Per Week
  • Floating Protocol [HARDSTOP]: Mandatory floating between campuses as well as cross-floating to NICU and CVICU units as needed.
  • Vaccination & Masking Mandate: Flu vaccination required (Oct–Apr) or approved exemption on file prior to start. Declination & Masking Protocol agreement required for un-vaccinated staff during respiratory virus season.
  • Assignment Duration: 26-Week Contract (09/27/202603/27/2027) | 5 Open Positions.

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

  • Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 2+ years of dedicated PICU RN experience.
    • Floating & Facility Background: Prior clinical experience floating to CVICU and NICU required. Hospital experience in a Level III or Level IV NICU and dedicated Children's Hospital environment strongly preferred.
  • Education Baseline: ADN, BSN, or Nursing Diploma from an accredited program.
  • Licensure Requirements [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]: Active State RN License in state of practice or active eNLC Multistate Compact RN License (or ability to establish licensure prior to start date).
  • Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION]:
    • Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers) certification [HARDSTOP].
    • Active AHA PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification [HARDSTOP].
    • Preferred Certification: Active NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification preferred.
