Job Overview: RN - Pediatric ICU (PICU)

• Shift: Rotating Days (07:00 – 19:00) & Nights (19:00 – 07:00)

Key Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years of PICU RN experience (excluding orientation).
• First-Time Travelers: Allowed with appropriate skill & experience.
• Certifications: AHA BLS & PALS required.
• EMR: Epic proficiency strictly required (no exceptions).
• Background: Level I Trauma & Teaching Hospital experience preferred.

Clinical Skills & Scope

• Patient Population: Neonates, Pediatrics, Adolescents (Level 1 Trauma, Designated Pediatric Burn Center).
• Diagnoses/Specialties: Cardiovascular, Surgical, Neuro, Heme-Onc.
• Core Skills: Care of Ventilated Patients, Continuous Sedation, IV Vasopressors, ICP Monitoring, Telemetry, and Vents.
• Specialized Skills: CVVH, Chemo Administration, and ECMO (preferred).
