Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU night shift position requiring a ME or compact license and at least 2 years of PICU experience.

Details

  • Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting
  • 13-week contract on night shift, 19:00-07:30
  • Uses Epic EMR
  • Float policy requires floating within a 25-mile radius between facilities as needed

Requirements

  • Active RN license (ME or compact) required upon submission
  • BLS and other AHA certifications required; non-AHA certifications accepted at submission but must be completed before start
  • Minimum 2 years of PICU experience required
  • Driver's License required for consideration
  • 2 professional references required

Additional Information

  • Candidates within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are considered local, which may affect pay rate eligibility
  • Local travelers are not eligible for renewals or extensions
  • RTO should be minimized, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract at manager's discretion
  • Candidates who worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months must disclose this upon application
  • AirPods, laptops, and cell phone use are prohibited on the unit
