Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Pediatric ICU night shift assignment requiring 2 years of recent PICU experience and Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Pediatric Intensive Care Unit setting within a hospital
• Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30
• 13-week assignment length
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required
• BLS and other required certifications must be from AHA or RQI
• 2 years of recent PICU experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• No employment gaps of 90+ days in the past 12 months
• Must complete ICU competency testing with up to 2 attempts to pass
• US Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN not accepted
• Flu vaccination required with only medical exemptions accepted (no personal/religious declinations)

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to pediatric ICU patients
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• More than 3 call-outs in a 13-week period may result in contract termination, with make-up shifts required within 6 weeks of the last call-out
• RTO must be requested at time of submission
• Local candidates within a 50-mile radius from Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington counties are not eligible for this position
