Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN)

This is an opportunity for a dynamic, skilled Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse who will float to various pediatric units, including PICU, NICU, Pediatric Med-Surg, Pediatric PACU, Pediatric ED Boarders, and Postpartum/Mother-Baby. The role requires strong clinical skills and adaptability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care across multiple pediatric units.
• Monitor, assess, and implement patient care plans for pediatric patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal care delivery.
• Participate in training and development opportunities as required.

Work Schedule:

• Nights with options for 36 or 48 hours per week.
• Rotating weekends and holidays will be required.
• No block scheduling can be accommodated or guaranteed.
• Time off may be approved up to 40 hours, with no requests approved during the first two weeks of the assignment.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of PICU experience required.
• Experience in NICU and comfort with pediatric patients is essential.
• Pediatric PACU experience is highly preferred.
• Current BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certification is required or may be submitted as pending (cost associated).
• Must adhere to float pool policies.
• Epic electronic medical record experience is required.
