Job Summary:
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare facility. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for critically ill pediatric patients, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and professional standards. The RN is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across various shifts, contributing to positive patient outcomes in a dynamic pediatric environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of practice, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Experience in pediatric or intensive care settings preferred. Must demonstrate ongoing clinical performance competencies appropriate to the pediatric intensive care area.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred. Additional certifications related to pediatric or intensive care, such as Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), are advantageous.
  • Additional Information: This position involves direct patient care of critically ill children in a specialized pediatric unit. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive assessments, developing and adjusting care plans, delegating tasks appropriately, and documenting all care activities thoroughly. The RN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes. The assignment is scheduled to commence on 10/05/2026 and conclude on 01/02/2027.
