Job Summary:
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare facility. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care for critically ill pediatric patients. The nurse will utilize their specialized knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality, age-appropriate care in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of practice or a valid compact RN license, BLS certification, minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care setting within the past 12 months in a pediatric or critical care environment
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing, professional certification in pediatric or critical care nursing preferred
  • Additional Information: The position requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and stretch frequently. Candidates must possess physical agility, reaction time, hearing and visual acuity, and good motor skills. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds may be required. Effective communication skills are essential for in-person and telephone interactions.
