Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit – Seattle, WA 98122

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Seattle, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). Every other weekend required. 2:1 patient ratio. Float to NICU or units within skill set with orientation provided. Scheduling determined by unit needs following permanent staff self-scheduling.

Highlights:

• 13-week travel assignment in a Level I pediatric critical care environment
• Comprehensive orientation provided with 24 hours of onboarding support
• Work with diverse patient populations including infants, pediatrics, and adolescents in a 6-bed unit
• Interdisciplinary team support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience
• Epic charting system experience preferred

Requirements:

• Active Washington State RN license or valid Compact license
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric critical care nursing experience required
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• NRP and CRRT certifications preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Proficiency in pediatric dosage calculations, ventilator management, CPAP/BiPAP, chest tube care, central line management, blood product administration, procedural sedation, tracheostomy care, and wound care
• Experience with high-frequency vents, oscillators, RSI drugs, CVP monitoring, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, PICC/central lines, and wound vac systems
• Two professional references covering one year of experience within the last three years
• Must reside outside 50-mile local radius or willing to accept adjusted compensation
