Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This role involves providing expert care in various pediatric units, including CVPICU, NICU, and PICU, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.

Shift Details

• Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Rotation: Required
• Patient Ratios: 1:2 or 1:3

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care across all Pediatric units as required.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
• Participate in educational and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pediatric ICU.
• Accepting first-time travelers with the necessary experience.
• Current South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License required.
• Certifications Required: BLS, PALS (must be from the American Heart Association).
• Preferred Experience: ECMO, CRRT.

Additional Information

• Block scheduling may be accommodated with manager approval based on unit needs.
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted on a case-by-case basis.
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application.
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June - November), they may be assigned to emergency response teams.
