**Join Our Champion Team in the PICU!** **Job Description:** - Location: 509 Biltmore Avenue, Asheville, NC 28801 - Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM - Unit: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) - Patient Ratios: - PICU: 1 RN to 1-2 patients - Stepdown: 1 RN to 2-3 patients - Number of Beds: 9 - Documentation System: Cerner - Scrub Color: Navy blue or white **Unit Highlights:** - Caring and collaborative environment with a shared tech team - Comprehensive pediatric services including a Level III neonatal intensive care unit - Advanced equipment: Alaris pumps for optimal patient management - Self-scheduling to promote work-life balance - Opportunities for floating to Pediatric and NICU units **Required Qualifications:** - Minimum 1 year of PICU experience - Certification: PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) **Key Procedures Performed:** - IV starts - Catheterizations - Holding for lumbar punctures - Central line dressing changes - Hemodynamic monitoring - Tracheostomy care - Tube feeding and placement - ICP monitoring - Ventilator management **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
