Job Details
- Location: Springfield, MO (Address: 1235 E Cherokee St, Springfield, Missouri 65804)
- Shift: Days, 12 hours shift (6:30am - 7:00pm)
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, with an assignment start date of 10/12/2026 and end date of 01/11/2027
- Number of Openings: 2
- Required Qualifications: Current RN license (must meet Missouri licensing criteria or be licensed in Missouri), BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association, minimum 2 years PICU experience, Ventilator competence, and at least 1 year post-orientation experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with trauma, burn, neurosurgery, and different pediatric specialties; ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and work as a team.
- Float Requirements: Nurses may work in NICU, PICU, Pediatric medical floor, or Peds Emergency Department depending on patient volume.
- Equipment: Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC
- Additional Information: Night shift orientation will occur during the day shift and must be available the entire orientation week. Nurses are expected to utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring patient rights, confidentiality, and adherence to standards and mission. The role involves direct patient care activities, coordination with ancillary departments, and maintaining professional accountability.
