Pediatric OR Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pediatric OR Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to pediatric patients in the operating room setting. This position requires exceptional clinical skills and a passion for pediatric healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients undergoing surgical procedures.
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient operating room environment.
Administer medications and treatments per established protocols and standards.
Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition promptly.
Educate families on pre-operative and post-operative care procedures.
Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.

Shift Information

This position offers a mix of shifts, including:

Five 8-hour shifts during the day (07:00 - 15:30)
Four 10-hour shifts
Cover two weekend day shifts from 07:00 - 19:00
Cover two weeknight shifts from 19:00 - 23:00

Qualifications

Current Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Previous experience in a pediatric operating room setting is preferred.
Ability to work with minimal to no requested time off (RTO), no more than 3 days.
