Job Summary:
Operating Room Pediatrics (OR PEDS) specialist position located in Oakland, California. This role involves working in a highly collaborative environment within a multidisciplinary team to provide surgical care to pediatric patients. The position requires adaptability to flexible scheduling and a commitment to patient safety and quality care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week, starting from 09/01/2026.
• Required Qualifications: CA registered nurse license, BSN, Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Operating Room (OR) certification (CNOR), with 0 or more years of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Pediatric Operating Room (CNOR) preferred.
• Float: Ability to float to other UCSF campuses if needed.
• Additional Information: The role involves working within an American College of Surgeons Level I Pediatric surgery unit, supporting multidisciplinary procedures including neurology, orthopedics, urology, plastics, ophthalmology, dental, cardiac, general surgery, gastrointestinal, and hematology/oncology. The facility utilizes Epic charting system and requires completion of pre-start modules. Providers may be reassigned to different departments or facilities within a 75-mile radius during the assignment as needed.
