Job Summary
The organization is seeking a qualified Operating Room (OR) Pediatrics specialist for a travel assignment in a healthcare facility. This role involves circulating for a variety of pediatric and adult cases, including neuro, urology, orthopedics, oncology, and ENT surgeries, among others. The position offers an opportunity to work within a busy pediatric trauma environment with a focus on high-level acute care.

  • Location: The healthcare provider
  • Schedule: 10-hour shifts, days, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Washington State or compact Registered Nurse (RN) license; CNOR preferred; 2 years high-level acute OR experience including adult and pediatric cases.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with robotics, high-level neuro, ophthalmology, and dental surgeries.
  • Responsibilities: Circulating for pediatric and adult surgeries including neurosurgery, urology, orthopedics, oncology, ENT, and general surgery; assisting with procedures in PICU and NICU; potentially assisting anesthesia with intubations in MRI or IR settings.
  • Additional Information: Schedule includes 8H, 10H, and 12H day shifts; on-call hours approximately 2 weeknights and 1 weekend every 6 weeks with a 30-minute response time; scrub color provided.
