Registered Nurse – PACU (Pediatric)

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (8:00 AM – 6:30 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients in a PACU setting
- Monitor and assess patients during recovery from anesthesia, identifying and responding to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe patient transitions
- Float to other units or facilities as needed when staffing needs arise and qualifications are met
- Complete required non-billable orientation modules prior to start and annually as required
Required Qualifications
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand prior to start
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of Pediatric PACU and/or Pre-Op experience
- Level II Trauma experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Level I Trauma experience
- Teaching hospital experience strongly preferred
