Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 4 x 10-Hour Shifts | 40 Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care to pediatric patients in the PACU setting
- Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures
- Administer medications and interventions as ordered, ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Communicate effectively with surgical teams, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare staff
- Document patient assessments, care provided, and progress accurately in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Experience in PACU or post-operative nursing care
- Experience working with pediatric patient populations
Preferred Experience / Skills
- PALS certification
- Prior experience in a pediatric PACU or surgical setting
- Familiarity with pre-operative assessment and patient preparation workflows
