Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13-Week Assignment | 3×12-Hour Shifts | Evening/Mid Shifts (11:00 AM-11:00 PM or 1:00 PM-1:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a busy 50+ bed Emergency Department with 4 trauma rooms, serving a pediatric population
- Perform accurate and timely clinical documentation using Epic EMR
- Respond to and manage high-acuity and trauma cases in a fast-paced ED environment
- Float to sister campuses within the local area as needed
- Adhere to facility compliance requirements including a nicotine-free campus policy
- Complete a required medication competency test; passing is required to maintain placement
Required Qualifications- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license - license must be in hand at time of submittal
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department experience required
- Pediatric Emergency Department experience required
- PALS certification (AHA only) required
- BLS certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Candidates must submit any requested time off (RTO) dates at the time of submission; minimal to no RTO is expected
Preferred Experience / Skills- BSN degree preferred, but not required
- Strong comfort level with high-volume, high-acuity trauma environments
- Experience working across multiple care settings or campus locations
