- Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM | 3x11.5-hour shifts | 34.5 hrs/week
- Pediatric Emergency Department RN
- Seeking an experienced ED RN for a high-acuity Pediatric Emergency Department. The RN will provide safe, evidence-based patient care utilizing the nursing process, clinical judgment, and interdisciplinary collaboration while managing pediatric emergency patients and their families.
- Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of direct Pediatric ED experience
- BSN required
- Active NYS RN License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS required
- Minimum 1 year travel experience preferred
- Strong Epic EMR experience highly preferred
- Trauma experience preferred
- Preferred Certifications:
- TNCC
- ENPC
- CEN
- Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate emergency nursing care for pediatric patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge needs
- Support quality, safety, and evidence-based practice initiatives
- Assist with patient throughput and departmental operations
- Guaranteed Hours: 34.5/week
