Job Summary:
Pediatric Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) in Phoenix, Arizona. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in a fast-paced pediatric emergency department, collaborating with the healthcare team to promote patient health across various shifts. The role requires a dedicated professional with pediatric emergency nursing experience and relevant certifications.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Rotating shifts totaling 12 hours, including 7a-7p, 9a-9p, 11a-11p, 1p-1a, 3p-3a, and 7p-7a. Primary shifts will be decided in the interview.
  • Required Qualifications: Two-year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four-year degree (BSN) in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree; current State of Arizona RN license or multistate privileges; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association; pediatric emergency nursing experience of 17 years.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications.
  • Journeyman Experience: 17 years of pediatric emergency nursing experience.
  • Additional Information: This assignment may float between four campuses: Main, Arrowhead, Avondale, and East Valley. Only requested time off discussed during the interview will be pre-approved. The employer requires flu vaccination from October through April; COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not required. Staff must sign declination agreements and mask during respiratory virus season if not vaccinated.
