- Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks, starting 11/16/2026 and ending 02/15/2027
- Required Qualifications: Valid Texas RN license, BLS, PALS, ENPC, and NCC certifications; minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric emergency care; experience working in a pediatric environment; working knowledge of standard ER equipment and Meditech documentation system.
- Preferred Qualifications: Leadership skills, charge nurse or nursing educator experience, and additional advanced skills in pediatric interventions are preferred.
- Additional Information: The pediatric emergency unit features approximately 36 beds plus 2 trauma rooms, a typical patient ratio of 3:1, and uses standard ER equipment specific for pediatric management. The hospital maintains policies on attire, body art, and floating guidelines. Staff is committed to high-quality care, teamwork, and embracing new technology and practices in a dynamic environment.
