**Job Description:**
- Shift Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Unit Type: Pediatric and Oncology
- Location: 3rd Floor, Building G
**Unit Details:**
- Total Number of Beds: 19
- 13 Pediatric Beds
- 6 Oncology Beds
- Staff Composition:
- 10 Pediatric Nurses
- 12 Oncology Nurses
- Patient Ratios:
- 1:3, 1:4, 1:5
- Typical Staff on Night Shift:
- 4 RNs
- 1 Charge RN
- 1 RT
- 1 PCT
**Orientation:**
- 4-hour hospital orientation
- Followed by an 8-hour shift on the floor
**Required Certifications:**
- PALS
- BLS
- APHON (for oncology)
**Dress Code:**
- Scrub Colors: All navy, all white, or a combination of both for RNs
- Galaxy blue for CNAs
- Purple for Sitters
- Medium gray/Pewter for RTs
- Sage green for LPNs
**Ideal Candidate Profile:**
- Must Have:
- Pediatric hospital experience
- Pediatric Oncology experience
- Preferred Skills:
- Detail-oriented and organized
**Floating Areas:**
- PICU
- NICU
**Additional Information:**
- Tobacco Use Policy: Prohibited on campus
