**Join Our Dynamic Pediatric Team!**
**Job Description:**
- **Shift:** 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
- **Unit:** Pediatrics and Oncology
- **Location:** Asheville, NC
- **Floor:** 3P, Building G
- **Total Beds:** 19 (13 Pediatric, 6 Oncology)
**What You’ll Do:**
- Work with a dedicated team of 22 staff members (10 in Pediatrics and 12 in Oncology).
- Collaborate with 4 RNs, 1 Charge RN, 1 RT, and 1 PCT each day.
- Manage patient ratios of 1:3, 1:4, or 1:5.
- Utilize Alaris pumps and Cerner EMR for efficient patient care.
- Ensure a nurturing environment for pediatric and oncology patients.
**Requirements:**
- Pediatric experience in a hospital setting.
- Pediatric Oncology knowledge is a plus.
- Must hold PALS and BLS certifications; APHON certification is required for oncology roles.
- Detail-oriented and well-organized personality.
**Dress Code:**
- Scrub Color: All navy blue or a combination of navy and white for RNs.
**Additional Details:**
- Orientation: 4-hour hospital orientation followed by an 8-hour shift on the floor.
- Floating Areas: PICU and NICU available.
- Weekend Commitment: 6 weekend shifts, including 2 Saturdays.
