Job Opportunity – Pediatric & Pediatric Oncology RN – North Carolina**Start Date:** September 21, 2026 **Location:** Asheville, North Carolina **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Day and night shifts available; 12-hour shifts; 1:3 to 1:5 patient ratios; 6 weekend shifts per assignment with 2 being Saturdays**Highlights:**- 19-bed combined Pediatrics and Pediatric Oncology unit serving a diverse patient population- Work with a collaborative team including dedicated Charge RNs, Respiratory Therapists, and PCTs- Cerner EMR system and Alaris pump equipment- May float to PICU and NICU based on hospital needs- Unit always staffed with at least one oncology-trained nurse for specialized patient care- Comprehensive 4-hour hospital orientation followed by 8-hour floor shift for smooth onboarding**Requirements:**- Current RN license in North Carolina or compact state eligibility- PALS and BLS certifications required- Hospital-based pediatric nursing experience required- Pediatric oncology experience strongly preferred- Detail-oriented and organized personality with strong clinical skills- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on young patients and their families in both general pediatrics and specialized oncology care.
