**Join Our Dynamic Pediatric and Oncology Team!**
**Job Description:**
- **Location:** 3rd Floor, Building G, 509 Biltmore Ave, Asheville, NC 28801
- **Unit Overview:**
- Experience the excitement of working in a specialized unit that combines PEDS and Oncology care.
- 19 total beds: 13 pediatric beds and 6 oncology beds.
- **Team Composition:**
- 22 dedicated staff members: 10 in pediatrics and 12 in oncology.
- Minimum of 1 oncology nurse on duty every day.
- **Shifts & Staffing:**
- Day Shift: 4 RNs, 1 Charge RN, 1 RT, and 1 PCT.
- Night Shift: 4 RNs, 1 Charge RN, 1 RT, and 1 PCT.
- Patient ratios: 1:3, 1:4, or 1:5 based on acuity.
- **Equipment & Technology:**
- Utilize Alaris pumps for patient care.
- Experience with Cerner EMR system.
- **Ideal Candidate Profile:**
- **Must-Have Skills:**
- Pediatric experience in a hospital setting.
- Experience in Pediatric Oncology.
- **Preferred Skills:**
- Professional certifications: PALS, BLS (and APHON for Oncology candidates).
- **Personality Fit:**
- Detail-oriented and organized individuals who thrive in a collaborative environment.
- **Floating Opportunities:**

- **Dress Code:**
- Scrub Color: All navy blue or white tops.
- **Weekend Commitment:**
- 6 weekend shifts required, with 2 being Saturdays.
- **Experience Required:**
- Minimum of 2 years in a relevant clinical setting.
