• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Floating: NICU, PICU, and CVPICU as needed
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360 - $2,480

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric nursing, pediatric intensive care, or critical care nursing
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or credential
• BLS and PALS certification required
• CardioHelp experience required
• Experience with ECMO management, including VA ECMO and VV ECMO, preferred or required for success in this role
• Strong critical care background with comfort supporting neonatal, infant, and pediatric patients
• Epic experience preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Responsibilities

• Manage ECMO pumps and provide specialized support for patients on ECMO
• Care for patients on VA ECMO and VV ECMO, adapting to cardiac and non-cardiac needs
• Provide bedside nursing support in pediatric ICU settings when ECMO census is low
• Deliver care for cardiac, non-cardiac, NICU, PICU, and CVPICU patients based on unit need
• Monitor critically ill patients, maintain safe patient ratios, and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Support ventilator management, vasoactive drips, and other advanced ICU interventions as appropriate
• Participate in practice drills, ongoing education, and competency maintenance for ECMO and CardioHelp systems
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, family-centered pediatric healthcare
