Description

American Traveler is hiring a CVOR RN for a pediatric cardiac operating room role requiring Epic experience and FL or compact RN licensure.

Details

  • Pediatric Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting
  • Performs complex pediatric congenital cardiac procedures including ASD/VSD repair, Norwood/Glenn/Fontan, TAPVR, ECMO, central shunts, arterial switch, arch reconstruction, valve repair/replacement, and heart transplantation
  • Schedule of M-F, working (4) 10-hour shifts or (3) 12-hour shifts with a 6 AM start time
  • Requires weekday and weekend cardiac call, approximately 10-12 shifts within a 28-day scheduling period
  • Required call response time of 30 minutes
  • May float to areas of similar skill set, including thoracic
  • Uses Epic EMR system

Requirements

  • Active FL or compact RN license required
  • Current AHA BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Circulating case experience preferred
  • Scrub experience preferred

Additional Information

  • Provide perioperative nursing care for complex pediatric cardiac surgical procedures
  • Coverage required for one major holiday
  • Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
