Registered Nurse Job Requirements

  • Active Oregon RN license or proof of Oregon license application and fingerprinting at submission
  • Active Washington RN license or Compact RN license prior to start
  • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required; 3 years preferred
  • Recent neonatal transport and pediatric transport experience required
  • Experience with flight nursing and/or mobile transfer transport required
  • BLS, PALS, and NRP required
  • Epic experience required
  • Comfort working with an RT partner and EMS support during transport
  • Ability to work night shifts and rotating weekend coverage as scheduled

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, high-quality nursing care during neonatal and pediatric transports
  • Stabilize and monitor patients requiring higher levels of care during ground or air transport
  • Collaborate closely with respiratory therapy and medical providers during transfers
  • Support patients with advanced interventions such as airway management, IV access, and resuscitation
  • Assist with transport-related procedures and use of specialized equipment
  • Document patient care accurately in Epic
  • Participate in orientation and vendor-based flight training
  • Contribute to a team-focused, mission-driven environment dedicated to pediatric critical care
