Key Responsibilities of the RN - Pediatrics - Travel- Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Administer and monitor patient responses to all medications
- Direct and guide patient care, teaching, and activities of ancillary personnel
- Maintain standards of professional nursing
- Provide documentation of assessment throughout hospital admission
- Initiate plan of care with communication of pertinent data
- Demonstrate proficiency in the role of charge nurse and Computerized Nursing Informatics
- Participate in monitoring the quality and appropriateness of care
- Adhere to safety, blood/body fluid policies and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality regarding patients and hospital matters
Requirements of the RN - Pediatrics - Travel- Must read, write, and communicate in English
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required
- Successful passage of CCH's Pharmacology exam
- BSN Preferred
- Recent Pediatric experience within the last 2 years in an acute care facility
- Pediatric certification preferred
