License: Active Iowa or compact multistate license required
Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses (APHON) preferred
Must-Have:
- Pediatric experience within the previous 18 months required
- Hematology/Oncology experience required
- Willingness to float to the Emergency Department for inpatient holds required
- EPIC electronic medical records experience within the previous 12 months required
- Must have completed at least one travel contract within the previous 18 months
Description:
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric team.
This role involves working nights and requires a commitment to quality care for pediatric patients.
You will care for patients in various pediatric specialties, including Hematology/Oncology.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1:2-4, ensuring individualized attention for each child.
Your responsibilities will include providing direct patient care, medication administration, and collaboration with healthcare team members.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to float to different units as needed.
