Job Summary
Pediatric Medical Floor RN (Registered Nurse) This position is located at a pediatric medical facility. The role involves providing compassionate, high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients with a range of medical needs, including those requiring ventilator support, respiratory care, neuro assessments, and post-operative recovery. This assignment spans from December 1, 2026, to March 6, 2027.

Job Details

  • Position: RN Medical/Surgical (Pediatrics) with Pediatric Medical Floor specialty
  • Location: Facility serving pediatric patients in a specialized medical campus setting
  • Schedule: 12-hour Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years Pediatric RN experience in a large pediatric facility; experience with trach/vent patients, EVD and lumbar drains, chest tubes, JP drains, central lines, TPN/Lipids, CPM/Ortho/Halo traction, colostomy, ileostomy, nephrostomy care, TBI, neuro assessments, seizure management, solid organ transplant patients, trauma, and rehabilitation patients; BLS certification needed; no minimum experience specified for the position, but required skills indicate a background in pediatric critical care and specialty nursing.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required to Medical Oncology, Respiratory, Cardiac Acute Care, Rehab, NICU, and possible NOC sites (North/South Campuses)
  • Additional Responsibilities: Willingness to work scheduled weekends and holidays as required; capacity to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment; ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Submission Requirements: Candidates must be fully licensed as a Pediatric RN, hold current BLS certification, and have at least 2 years experience in a pediatric medical-surgical setting.
  • Equipment & Resources Used: Medfusion and Baxter Sigma IV pumps, Kangaroo feeding pumps, CADD PCA pumps, VocSN trach ventilators, and other specialized respiratory support equipment.
  • Vaccination Policy: Seasonal Influenza Vaccination required.
