TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Pediatrics RN in Washington, Washington DC, 20010!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric PACU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of Pediatric Post Anesthesia Care and Pre Testing experience required. License: Active state license required prior to start. Pending license accepted for submission but must be issued before the start date. Certifications: BLS, PALS Must-Have: - Care of ventilated patients - Conscious sedation - ICP monitoring - Experience in a Level I trauma center - Pediatric PACU experience - 2 years Pediatric PACU experience Description: Candidates must have recent experience in Pediatric Post Anesthesia Care. Shifts will be 3 nights per week for 12-hour periods. Scheduling will involve variable start times between 6 AM and 11 AM. There are no weekend or holiday shifts required. Call is not required for this position. Modules are required to be completed within the first week of the assignment. Missed shifts due to call-outs must be made up at the end of the contract. Time off requests are limited; one week maximum. All applicants must not have any background or license hits. Additional requirements include a preference for a holiday during the contract period. Pre-start modules must be completed prior to orientation, and these hours are non-billable. Candidates must be separated from the previous employer for at least one year to be considered for rehire. Compliance documents must be submitted prior to the start date, with no pending items. Travelers must float between critical care units, which will include all ages. Applicants must have a sound understanding of patient care in a pediatric environment.
