Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a 20-bed blended unit serving both pediatric and adult female medical-surgical patients
Manage a patient assignment of up to 5 patients depending on census and acuity
Deliver age-appropriate nursing care to pediatric patients, including those presenting with RSV and related respiratory conditions
Utilize Allscripts for clinical documentation and Acudose for medication administration
Float to other adult units as needed when census on the home unit is low; comfort with adult med/surg patients is essential
Adhere to an EPIC system transition beginning in March 2025, with no time-off requests honored during the conversion window
Required Qualifications
Active RN licensure in good standing
PALS certification required
EPIC experience within the past year required
Comfortable caring for both pediatric and adult medical-surgical patient populations
Ability to float to adult units based on census and staffing needs
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience with Allscripts EMR and Acudose medication system
Background in pediatric nursing, particularly with RSV and respiratory presentations
Experience working on blended or mixed-acuity units
