Travel Nurse RN - Pediatrics - $2,280 per week in Reno, NV

Work within a high-acuity regional medical center that serves as the area's only Level II Trauma Center, offering exposure to a wide range of complex and critical cases. Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
• Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient and family interaction with excellent documentation skills
• Demonstrate comfort with pediatric resuscitation and the care of critically ill children
• Coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams and serve as the accountable provider for individualized patient outcomes throughout the episode of care
• Float to other areas of the organization as needed, up to competency level
• Maintain ongoing professional growth and apply a strong scientific knowledge base to clinical decision-making

Required Qualifications

• Active Nevada RN license required prior to start
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• ENPC certification required
• TNCC certification required
• Minimum two years of experience in a Pediatric Emergency Room setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for critically ill pediatric patients in a high-volume emergency environment
• Strong clinical documentation skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to adapt to variable schedules including weekends, holidays, and call shifts
