First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Pediatrics for a travel nursing job in Des Moines, Iowa.
POSITION:: RN – Pediatrics
Location: Des Moines, IA
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 01/04/2027
Shift: Night Shift | 12-Hour Nights
Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Schedule: 7:00 PM–7:00 AM | Every 3rd Weekend
PAY PACKAGE – 36 HOURS
• Weekly Gross: $2,277/week
• W2 Pay: $24/Hour
• Weekly Stipend: $1,414/week
• Overtime: $36/Hour
REQUIREMENTS
• Pediatric experience within previous 18 months required
• Hematology/Oncology experience required
• Minimum 24 months of Pediatric and/or Oncology experience
• APHON certification required
• BLS – AHA required
• PALS – AHA required
• EPIC experience within previous 12 months required
• Active Iowa RN license or Compact/Multistate license required
• Must have completed at least 1 travel contract within previous 18 months
• Must be willing to float to ED for inpatient holds
• May float to NICU, General Pediatrics and PICU
• Driver’s License required

• Call-back: 1.5x multiplier with 2-hour minimum
• Charge/Preceptor: $6/hour
• No local candidates; minimum 50-mile distance required

• Max Per Diem: $1,414/week
• Regular Hours: 36/week
