Must carry national certifications: BLS/CPR (AHA) and PALS (AHA). 1 call shift required per weeknight or 1 call shift every other weekend as needed. 1 holiday call may be required. The unit operates with a patient ratio of 1:1-2 for PACU. The PACU is a fast-paced environment with high standards of care. Flexibility regarding on-call shifts is essential. The ideal candidate should be proficient in pain management and discharge instructions. Duties will include assessing and managing pediatric patients post-surgery. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team are required. Continuous education and adaptation to new practices are encouraged.
