Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating days and nights, 3x12-hour shifts
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Setting: Pediatric unit with NICU-focused care
• Location: Baltimore, Maryland 21209 — a vibrant urban setting with a strong community feel

• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: Within specialty as needed
• On-Call: Not required

Job Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric nursing experience
• NICU experience required
• BLS certification required
• CPI certification required
• Ability to work rotating shifts and every other weekend
• Comfortable caring for neonates, infants, and pediatric patients
• Experience with Meditech preferred
• First-time travelers accepted

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for pediatric and neonatal patients
• Monitor patient status and respond to changing clinical needs in a busy pediatric unit
• Support care for conditions such as prematurity, feeding issues, cardiac defects, and respiratory concerns
• Assist with trach and ventilator care when needed
• Administer medications and therapies in accordance with pediatric nursing standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote effective patient care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established protocols
• Float within the specialty while remaining flexible and team-oriented
