- Required Qualifications: 18 years of experience in an acute and chronic care setting with solid oncology experience; current flu vaccination; APHON Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Provider Status; PALS and BLS certifications; proficient in managing all types of cancer diagnoses; attentive to patient safety and emotional support; appropriate prioritization skills in a fast-paced setting
- Additional Information: Inpatient HemOnc includes a 16-bed unit with patient ratios typically at 3:1, with some fluctuation for med/surg patients; a charge RN and team lead RN are available without patient assignments to assist with procedures and high-alert drugs; Nursing Care Partners assist with tasks; no float rotation required.
