Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric PACU experience required
• Current Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license required
• Epic experience required
• BLS and PALS certifications required, AHA only
• Previous travel nurse experience preferred
• Experience in a Level I trauma environment required
• Ability to pass a telemetry exam prior to start
• Must be flexible with scheduling and floating as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate pediatric nursing care for surgical and procedural patients
• Deliver independent peri-anesthesia management for complex inpatient and outpatient cases
• Support pre-op, Phase I recovery, Phase II recovery, and PACU patient care
• Monitor patients closely and respond appropriately to changing clinical needs
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote excellent outcomes
• Maintain accurate charting and follow established clinical protocols in Epic
• Adapt to a fast-paced Wisconsin healthcare environment with a diverse pediatric and family-centered patient population
