• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Orientation: 60 hours
• Floating: Required across pediatric units as needed

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license; Virginia RN license pending may be accepted prior to start
• Minimum of 2 years of PICU experience required
• Experience in NICU, Pediatric PACU, and pediatric emergency or acute care settings strongly preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP required
• Infant-Driven Feeding Certificate required, or willingness to obtain as needed
• Travel nursing experience required
• BSN preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in a pediatric float pool environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents
• Float to PICU, NICU, Pediatric ED, and Acute Pediatrics, with occasional coverage in L&D and Mother/Baby when needed
• Care for high-acuity patients requiring advanced monitoring, ventilatory support, vasoactive infusions, and specialized pediatric interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, child life, and interdisciplinary team members to support individualized patient and family care
• Respond to changing patient needs while maintaining strong clinical judgment and adherence to float policies
• Deliver evidence-based care in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment
