Candidates must be available to start by 12/18/2026. No holiday requests will be accepted. The average patient ratio is 1:4. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend shifts are required every other week. Candidates will need to float to all pediatric units. Experience in trauma level I is required. Staff will care for pediatric surgical patients aged 0-20 pre and post-operative. Typical patient diagnoses include appendicitis, cholecystectomy, chest tube management, and orthopedic fractures. Skills in central line blood draws, management of chest tubes, and NG tube insertion are essential. The unit staff includes Occupational Therapy, Respiratory Services, Social Services, and Pharmacy. Interdisciplinary support is provided to enhance patient care.
