Description:
The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Pediatrics specialty.
The role is to provide high-quality care to pediatric patients.
The unit has a total of 19 beds, including 13 pediatric beds and 6 oncology beds.
The nursing staff consists of 22 members, including both pediatric and oncology nurses.
The typical patient ratios are 1:3 to 1:5, depending on the situation.
The nursing team works collaboratively with respiratory therapists and patient care technicians.
The unit is equipped with Alaris pumps and uses Cerner as the electronic medical record system.
Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented and organized.
Weekend shifts include 6 weekend shifts, with 2 being Saturdays, per contract.
Floating may occur to additional units as needed.
