Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Medical-Surgical unit during night shift hours
Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation and patient management
Float within scope of practice as required by unit needs
Work every other weekend as part of the expected schedule
Adhere to facility scheduling requirements; blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
Required Qualifications
Active RN license - Kentucky state license or valid Compact license required at time of submission; no exceptions
AHA BLS certification required
PALS certification required
NIH Stroke Scale certification required
Minimum 2 years of current experience in Pediatric Medical-Surgical nursing
Flu vaccine required; declinations are not accepted (medical and religious exemptions considered on a case-by-case basis)
Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel nursing experience in a pediatric acute care setting
Familiarity with Meditech EMR systems
Experience working flexible schedules with variable weekly hour requirements
